one time get ready
two times and it starts to get heavy
three times and it'll never be the same again
blood moon hanging low
come undone and ready to go
I get the feeling it'll never be the same again
the clouds are turning grey
and my heart is turning black
might feel like yesterday
but it's never coming back
we danced all night and I'd do it again
but you know it's coming down when it's wearing thin
I took the last train out and it's starting to take it's toll
you know you're looking real good with your soul on fire
with your wedding dress burning like a funeral pyre
and on the last train out I know I'm gonna pay the toll
so wake up if you're ready
wake up and it is gonna get heavy
wake up but the darkness is closing in
dead eyes looking low
see it as it is and ready to go
I get the feeling it’ll never be the same again
the clouds are turning grey
and my heart is turning black
might feel like yesterday
but it's never coming back
we danced all night and I'd do it again
but you know it's coming down when it's wearing thin
I took the last train out and it's starting to take it's toll
you know you're looking real good with your soul on fire
with your wedding dress burning like a funeral pyre
and on the last train out I know I'm gonna pay the toll
look back with dread
look forward it's the same ahead
I get the feeling it was always this way yeah

Better late to the party than never. How did I miss this band? It's a great blend of The Cure during their 'a forest' period and alternative rock. The first track Grandview plunges you into an ocean of psychodelic guitars and rythmic drums and like a siren lures you into the depths. A very accomplished album and although I wouldn't categorize it as Gothic it captures the early spirit of that dusty genre better than most contemporary bands nowadays. stargazing robot

I have listened to this album so many times I know it like the back of my hand. Yet, no matter how many times I hear it, it always seems fresh and new, which is a rare thing indeed. ghaseloff
“Strangers” is packed with wonderfully menacing electro-goth—late-night horror movie music for vampire dance parties. Bandcamp New & Notable May 8, 2023
Perfectly gloomy Norwegian goth/post-punk, anchored by a punchy rhythm section and driven by chiming guitar lines and morose vocals. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 16, 2021
